Why Regular Upholstery Cleaning Matters
What looks clean can still be holding onto everyday residue.
Daily use can leave dust, body oils, perspiration, food residue, pet allergens and odours within the fibres — even when the surface still looks reasonably clean.
Dust & allergens
Dust, pollen, pet allergens and dust-mite allergen material can settle into sofas, mattresses and carpets.
Body oils & perspiration
Daily contact transfers oils and moisture into fabric, contributing to residue, marks and stale odours.
Food & drink residue
Spills and crumbs may leave stains, sticky residue and unwanted smells if they remain in the fabric.

The Process
How Skrub.Lab Does It.
A careful process designed to loosen, lift and extract dirt and residue from the fabric. The exact method is adjusted to the upholstery and its condition.

Inspect
Check the fabric, condition, stains, existing discolouration and any areas that need extra care.

Dry Vacuum
Remove loose dust, hair and debris before introducing moisture.

Pre-treat
Apply a suitable cleaning solution to target general soil and heavily used areas.

Agitate
Work the solution gently through the fabric where needed to help loosen residue.

Extract
Rinse and extract loosened dirt and residue from the upholstery.

Dry Pass & Finish
Additional extraction passes help reduce moisture, followed by a final inspection. Steam treatment may be used where suitable.
